Getting Married in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is one of the most unusual places to get married. You can organize your dream ceremony, from the most unique to the most sublime.

Each year, over 100,000 couples exchange wedding rings in Las Vegas. February 14th, St-Valentines' Day is chosen the most often followed by New Years' Eve.

Mythical couples like Elvis and Priscilla Presley, Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow, Jane Fonda and Roger Vadim, Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward pronounced their eternal vows.

Your Las Vegas Wedding

Choose on site or online before you leave, the private chapel or hotel that will organize your wedding. Choose the ceremony program and that's all. Marriage professionals in Las Vegas will take care of each detail so that the day of your wedding will be successful.

The flat rate for a ceremony is about $250. Chapels offer la carte dress, bouquet, tuxedo, rings, music, photos, video, candlelight diner for ten or a dining room for a hundred.

A limousine is usually included in the package and the driver will first drive you to the Marriage License Bureau for a civil marriage and then to the site of the religious ceremony.

For a no frill civil ceremony ($55), speak to the commissioner whose office is next to the Marriage License Bureau.

Drive-in window, open at all hours

Charolette Richards of the Little White Chapel was to preside over a marriage of two handicapped people. The engaged couple had an extremely hard time trying to get out of the car, and she offered to marry them in their car. From this event the 24 Hour drive up window was born on the side of the chapel. Since then, lovers on foot, motorcycles or in cars with the children sitting on the back seat acting as witnesses get married in no time.
