Grant Village

Which hotel to choose?

The distances between two sites are quite important and we recommend that you reserve one or two nights in each of the four hotel sites in the park. Starting your tour from these sites will allow you to visit the neighboring regions.

Old Faithful

Many hotels in Yellowstone date from the beginning of the century. You will appreciate the atmosphere, despite the rather simple accommodations and the lack of soundproof rooms. Ask for a room with a bathroom if you do not want to line up for a shared shower in some of the hotels. A phone is rarely available in the rooms and there is no television. The more modern hotels generally offer simple but comfortable motel type of accommodation.

Reservations and Rates

Hotel reservations within the park are centralized by the Xanterra Parks & Resorts. The easiest way to reserve your room is through Internet.

If the hotels seem booked, call for help at
(307) 344 7901.

The rates for a double occupancy room vary between $65and $404, depending on the season and the quality of the hotel, lodge or cabin.
